Opening hours

We are open almost every day of the year. See all our opening hours here. A visit normally takes about 2 hours.

Luggage

You can use our small lockers and coat hangers free of charge. There is no space for large bags and luggage inside the exhibition spaces.

Disabled access

The museum is fully wheelchair accessible. Personal care assistants and attendants are welcome and they don’t need to purchase a ticket.

Parking

Djurgården is a popular destination but parking spaces are limited. We recommend that you use public transport instead, or why not take a nice walk? We’re only 5 minutes from the city centre.

Children and youth

There’s free admission for children under 7-years-old.  We don’t allow strollers inside the museum but we can provide carriers for the small ones. You can borrow a stroller lock free of charge at the ticket cashier.

The minimum age for visiting the museum without an adult is 16.

Temporary exhibitions

An area of ABBA The Museum is specially reserved for temporary exhibitions. The ticket for our temporary exhibitions is included in the entry for ABBA The Museum.

Cashless

We don’t accept cash at the museum, only card payments. It’s safer and more efficient for everyone.

Students

Students with a valid student card (Swedish or international) always get 30% off our regular price (250 SEK). Just show us your valid student card in the cashier.

Guided tours

Walk in the footsteps of ABBA together with our educated guides. Then enjoy the interactive parts of the museum by yourself.  Here you can get close to ABBA by experiencing what it’s like to be the fifth member of ABBA on stage together with the other members! See what you look like in ABBA’s legendary costumes and try your dance moves in one of their world famous music videos.

Price: From 395 SEK / person

Duration: Approximately 45 minutes, followed by your own visit to the exhibition.

Tours are for a minimum of 15 people, and available in the following languages: Swedish, English, French, Spanish, German, Portuguese, Italian, Japanese, Estonian, Finnish, Dutch, Russian, Czech, Polish and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).

School classes

ABBA The Museum offers a special ticket for school classes from elementary school to high school. The ticket includes an entry for maximum 30 people (at least one adult every ten students). The price for the ticket is 1 520 SEK. It is also possible to add a guided tour to the visit for an additional 2 000 SEK (Minimum 10 people, maximum 25 people / guide). The school class ticket is valid Monday – Thursday.

GOOD TO KNOW
Unfortunately we do not have space for big bags and luggage. We offer small lockers with key. It’s not allowed to bring big bags in to the exhibition. We can’t offer a space for eating food brought along, but if the weather is nice, we recommend a picnic in our green surroundings. We only accept cards in the museum, the museum shop and the restaurant (we are a cashless museum). If there is room, the school class ticket can be bought at the museum on the same day.

We offer small lockers and coat hangers free of charge; however, there’s no space for large bags or luggage inside the exhibition spaces.

Tickets are non-refundable, but you can rebook your ticket for a different date.

Re-bookings must be made prior to your visit via sales@abbathemuseum.com This is available on individual tickets only, not on group visits or guided tours.

You can buy our gift card at the museum and in our webshop. It can be used as a museum entrance ticket, or in our shop, restaurant and hotel.

You can also buy food and drinks in the restaurant, souvenirs at our shop or enjoy a overnight stay in our hotel. The card can be used as payment in all our cashiers except online.
